WTI

Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) is a leading non-profit wildlife conservation organisation in India, established in 1998 and dedicated to protecting the country’s natural heritage. Its mission is to conserve wildlife and their habitats and to support the welfare of individual wild animals through partnerships with communities, government agencies and conservation experts. WTI works across more than 23 states on projects such as species recovery, habitat restoration, emergency relief and wildlife rehabilitation. The Trust also strengthens law enforcement, mitigates human-wildlife conflict, trains frontline forest staff, and secures critical habitats like wildlife corridors. Over its 25+ year history, WTI has become a trusted force for wildlife protection and sustainable conservation action in India.
