Established in 1936 by hunter-turned-conservationist Jim Corbett, Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand holds the prestigious title of being India’s first national park. The park's verdant forests are renowned for their rich biodiversity, including the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger, one of the most coveted species to spot.

In addition to tigers, Corbett is home to the Asiatic Elephant, Indian Leopard, Sambar, Chital, Sloth Bear and the Golden Jackal.

With over 600 species of resident and migratory birds, the park offers a birdwatcher's paradise.
